Quality Guarantee

Despite an astounding number of repeat customers, a rapidly growing number of highly satisfied new customers, and a return rate below 00.005% (fewer than 5 per 1000 items shipped), we realize that our products may not meet every customer's needs. Consequently, we feel that is good practice to express the following policy:


All AKJ Concealco LLC products* are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship. We are so confident that you will be satisfied with the craftsmanship and overall quality of our products that if you are not satisfied, simply return the item to us within 10 days of delivery and we will refund 100% of the item cost.

However, as with most guarantees and warranties, some conditions apply:.


  • Guarantee applies to 'New' items only. Certain items sold in the clearance section of our website may not be covered under this guarantee--blemished, used, and discontinued items are generally not covered.
  • Products that are manufactured, but not originally sold by AKJ Concealco LLC are not eligible for return for refund, but are covered in the DEFECTS/DAMAGED ITEMS section of this guarantee (proof of purchase date may be required).
  • RETURNS IN GENERAL:  Products must be returned in NEW/UNUSED condition within 10 days of delivery. After 10 days, customer satisfaction will be assumed and all sales will be considered final.  Original or return shipping costs are not subject to refund or reimbursement. All returns should be shipped back in a sturdy shipping container. Insufficiently packaged returns that are damaged during transit are not eligible for refund or reimbursement.  Please allow up to 14 days for refund to appear on credit card statement.
  • RETURNS DUE TO ERROR ON OUR PART:  While rare, we do occasionally make an error in production and ship without realizing it (wrong color, dexterity, model, etc.).  In this case, returns will be accepted unconditionally provided they are returned in new/unused condition and done so in a timely manner.  We will promptly remake or alter the product to specification and will reimburse the costs of return shipping (USPS Priority or First Class Mail--both w/delivery confirmation rates only).

  • NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
    • Items that have been modified or customized by us at the request of the customer - i.e. items that deviate from our standard configuration, initials stamped on products, etc., are not eligible for refund or exchange.
    • Items that show evidence of use (other than inserting a handgun, magazine or flashlight to check fit) are not eligible for refund or exchange.
    • Items that are not manufactured by or for AKJ Concealco LLC (exception: CCU stock covers) are not eligible for refund or exchange.
  • DEFECTS/DAMAGED ITEMS:  All leather goods shipped to the consumer by AKJ Concealco LLC are inspected and meet our quality standard at the time of shipping.  However, there are (very) rare circumstances when a defect may occur. Defects/damage caused by abuse or misuse are not covered. Because they do not affect the function of the product, we do not consider minor cosmetic blemishes to be defects.
     
    • DEFECTS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY:  At our discretion, we will repair, or replace with an identical product, any item found to be defective and will pay the costs for round-trip shipping  (USPS Priority or First Class Mail--both w/delivery confirmation rates only).
       
    • AFTER 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY:  Because we have no control over the use of our products, and because defects usually always appear within a very short time of the first use, repair and return shipping costs are assumed by the customer.  However, in most cases, we can make repairs at little or no cost--we ask that the customer send $4.00 (SF Holsters and mag pouches) or $6.00 (handgun holsters) with the damaged item to help cover the cost of return shipping. If there will be a charge for repairs, customer will be notified of the estimated cost after we receive and inspect the damaged item.
  • LOST/DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:  All leather goods shipped to the consumer by AKJ Concealco LLC are inspected and meet our quality standard at the time of shipping.  Because we have no control over what happens to a product after it leaves our hands, we cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage that occurs to our products while in transit to the customer (at least without a significant increase in shipping costs). However, in most circumstances, we do have a recourse which may allow for replacement. In the event of loss or damage during transit, please notify us immediately.  If the damaged item(s) can be returned for replacement, please also return the original shipping container with the item. When applicable, damaged/lost items will be replaced by an identical item(s).  PLEASE NOTE:  In the years of shipping through the USPS--since 1997--we have had only a single domestic package reported lost or damaged (and that one was eventually found and returned to us!).
  • Items that are returned to us but are determined to be ineligible for return cannot be returned to the customer unless return shipping costs are paid.
  • At our discretion and under exceptional circumstances, we may be willing to accept certain unused, ordinarily "non-returnable" items and issue a refund--less original shipping charge and and a 15% restocking fee.
  • Mech Tech Carbine Conversion Units (CCUs) are non-returnable and are not warrantied by AKJ Concealco LLC but are covered by the manufacturer's (Mech Tech Systems Inc.) warranty.    All CCU sales are final--NO EXCEPTIONS- click here for more information.
